Our Methodology

Explore. Define. Frame. Test. Confirm. Launch. Scale.

Every engagement follows the same seven-phase methodology. Six weeks from scoping to production. You know exactly what happens at each stage, what you'll receive, and who is responsible.

The Seven Phases

From first conversation to full scale in six weeks.

01

Explore

Map the process. Understand the operation.

Week 1
What happens

We study your current workflow, interview stakeholders, and document the process end-to-end. We identify where automation can make the biggest immediate impact.

Deliverable

Process map with pain-point analysis and opportunity assessment.

Who does what

Amplitude leads discovery. Your team provides access to process knowledge and documentation.

02
02

Define

Scope the problem. Set success criteria.

Week 1–2
What happens

We narrow the scope to one specific, high-value problem. We define measurable success criteria and agree on the boundaries of the pilot.

Deliverable

Project scope document with success criteria, constraints, and timeline.

Who does what

Joint workshop. Amplitude synthesizes and proposes scope. You confirm or adjust.

03

Frame

Design the architecture. Choose the components.

Week 2
What happens

We design the technical architecture, select the appropriate tools and methodologies, and plan for edge cases and failure modes.

Deliverable

Technical architecture document with component specifications and failure mode analysis.

Who does what

Amplitude designs architecture. You review against your technical requirements and constraints.

04
04

Test

Build. Validate. Run against a test battery.

Weeks 3–5
What happens

We build the solution in iterations. Each component is tested against our structured QA battery before production — normal inputs, edge cases, failure scenarios, and volume loads.

Deliverable

Working build with test results and tolerance bands documented.

Who does what

Amplitude builds and tests. You provide validation data and review test results.

05

Confirm

Review. Verify. Sign off.

Week 5
What happens

We present the complete solution with test results. You verify against the agreed success criteria. We address any adjustments before moving to production.

Deliverable

Acceptance sign-off or adjustment list with timeline.

Who does what

You evaluate against criteria. Amplitude addresses findings.

Scale

Expand. Iterate. Add capacity.

Once the pilot is stable, we expand to adjacent processes or increase capacity. The same methodology applies — scoped, built, tested, and deployed with the same rigor. This part has no end date.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us your problem. Get a technical brief in 48 hours.

After the scoping session, we'll send you a technical brief within 48 hours covering approach, components, and estimated timeline.

  • No cost before we've proven anything.
  • Fixed-price pilot. Paid on delivery.
  • 30-day notice. No lock-in.
  • Production-grade. Not demo-ware.
